James Goodchild is a photographic image maker and educator, whose work is inspired by literature and poetry. A Flâneur with a keen interest in phenomenology, and psychogeography he immerses himself in his surroundings, whether it be the streets of Paris or the mountains of Wales. He possesses an unfaltering curiosity, searching for what can never be found, observing the people and details around him, capturing images which contain surrealist undertones to articulate emotion in the viewer.
